I'm Dan Deighton. I help managers, directors and entrepreneurs present, pitch and take questions with confidence, so senior leaders, investors and boards take them seriously.

Most of the people I work with are mid-to-senior managers, directors and entrepreneurs, plenty of them in finance and fintech. They're good at what they do, but they feel unheard by senior leadership, or they freeze when they have to present or take questions.
I also work with non-native English speakers who want to speak clearly and with authority, without worrying about having a perfect accent.
I know how it feels. I started out as a shy introvert, went on to win five regional public speaking championships, and ended up directing 200 clubs and 4,000 members.

Who is Dan Deighton?
Dan Deighton is a public speaking and executive communication coach based in Sheffield. He started out as a shy introvert, went on to win five regional public speaking championships, and has directed 200 public speaking clubs with 4,000 members.

Both. One-to-one coaching and team sessions can run online or in person in Sheffield and the surrounding area.
Is this the same as joining a public speaking club?
No. Most of Dan's clients are busy people who don't have time for a club. They want focused drilling for a particular occasion, such as a webinar, an interview or a pitch, and that is what the coaching is built around.
